I can do photo shoots for a wide variety of purposes.  Including sports photography, traditional and non-traditional portraits, pet photography, business events, and commercial photography of items for sale, staff members, business locations, etc., and many others.

My equipment is portable, and I can travel to your location for any photo shoot.  If for some reason your location is not suitable for shooting photographs, let me know and we can arrange another location.

Traditional/Non-Traditional Portraits
When doing portraits, it is important for the photographer to be fully involved in making sure the client looks his or her best and is happy with the results.  Proper lighting and posing are different for different people.  We all have different features, different face, head and hair shapes, different skin tones, and different hair color.  Part of the photographer's job is to look at the client, and use his experience to design lighting and posing that will be most flattering for an individual's particular look.  Additionally, the photo session should be specific to the client's goals.  A portrait of a business executive for a company website can be entirely different from a portrait for family, or a non-traditional portrait intended to convey a person's interests and hobbies.

All of the above can be contrasted with a typical "portrait studio" that has the same background, lighting, posing, and camera settings for all clients, giving portrait compositions and lighting that are identical for everyone.

I have two studio flashes, multiple softboxes and umbrellas, backdrops and stands, and reflectors and reflector stands that are all portable and can be brought to any location the client wishes for the shoot.






Fashion, Modeling, Glamour
As with any other photo shoot, it is important to understand the precise goal of the work.  There can be a variety of goals for such work.  It could be for the model's portfolio, or for clothing or jewelry that is to be sold, or perhaps someone just wants a glamour-style photo shoot as an alternative to a portrait.

Even within each particular work purpose, there is further information that assists in obtaining the best results.  For example, if it is for a modeling portfolio, what type of work will be sought with it?  Is it just for general use, or is there a specific job in mind that it will be used to apply for?  If the work is to show something to be sold, such as clothing, shoes, or jewelry, it is important to understand what the customer really desires from the photo shoot.  "I want to make sure that this particular color purple really stands out" is different from "We need to be sure to show how the darts sewn into the back of the shirt provide a slimmed hourglass shape", or "I need to be sure that the viewer can really notice this shirt uses cuff links, not buttons".

All of these criteria should be taken into consideration for a photo shoot that has such a specific purpose.




Sporting events
I can photograph a variety of different sporting events.  As with all of my work, I consider it important to be sure I understand the goals of the client and deliver what is desired.  For example, if it is a team sport, is it required that every member of the team is captured in individual action shots throughout the course of the competition?  Are there particular shots that the client wants?  These could be things such as "I want to be sure we get some shots of the players having just released free-throws", or "I want to be sure we get some shots of the quarterback about to pass", or "We need to be sure we get some pictures of the fighters staring each other down during the referee's instructions." 

I make it my goal to be sure that I am aware of all such requests before the work begins.





Pet Photography
As a pet owner myself, I understand the importance of preserving the memories of our extra family members.  I can either include the pets in family photographs, or do individual pet portraits.
